Founded in 2001 by Eugene Kilberg and Russ Roman, Murano Imports™ was built on something far more meaningful than simply importing lighting fixtures. It began with personal relationships in Venice and Murano — relationships with glass masters, artisan workshops, factory owners, lighting manufacturers, and creative partners whose traditions have been refined over generations.
From the beginning, our vision was clear: to offer authentic Murano glass chandeliers and custom luxury lighting that combine Italian craftsmanship, engineering precision, artistic individuality, and dependable professional service.

A Legacy Built on Authentic Italian Craftsmanship.
Our journey through the world of luxury lighting began alongside respected names in Venetian and Italian illumination.
In 2001 and 2002, we successfully collaborated with iTre and Murano Due. In 2002, both brands became part of FDV Group S.p.A., the renowned Italian lighting group based in Salzano that united prestigious lighting manufacturers and helped advance Venetian glassmaking expertise and contemporary lighting design. The FDV Group portfolio included celebrated names such as Leucos, Murano Due, iTre, Alt Lucialternative, Aureliano Toso, and Gallery Vetri d’Arte.
In 2003, Murano Imports began its long-standing partnership with Bellart S.R.L., a collaboration that continues today. During the same period, we also established successful working relationships with Sylcom and De Majo Illumination, two iconic Venetian lighting manufacturers known worldwide for handcrafted Murano glass chandeliers, pendants, sconces, and decorative lighting collections.
Over time, these partnerships evolved beyond distribution. Today, we work closely with artisan workshops and manufacturers to create fully customized lighting sculptures and architectural installations for private residences, hospitality environments, religious institutions, and commercial spaces.
